camel the goat

About a year ago i had a friend ask me if i wanted 3 goats. i asked my partner if he wanted to get them and he said sure. well it has been an experience. this is camel my goat or at least that is what i am told.

Solving the flooding issue of the garden

After the flooding of the garden from the 5 inch rain Sunday night we decided to solve the problem of this happening again. We took 1X6 and lined the outside of the bottom of the picket fence to divert the water around the outside of the garden to drain into the little brook that runs along side the garden.

the upsidedown tomato

I am trying my hand at growing tomatoes upsidedown. I made my own pots instead of buying the one on t.v. so far so good. I will keep you up to date on there progress.

transforming a teak bar into an herb garden

we took an old bar that had seen better days and turned it into a little herb garden. with basil, oregano, cilantro, tarragon, and thyme.

This weekend on the farm

our newly planted garden got washed away sunday night when we had a 5 inch rain storm.
